Team Gemini Bio Refinery for Feedstock Processing and Resource Creation
Processing unused waste and commodities and turning them into energy and other valuable resources.
The Bio Refinery portion of the Renewable Energy Cluster combines technology components such as a Bio Ethanol Plant, Butanol Plant, Waste-to-Energy Plant, and Biogas/Biomass Plant. The main focus of these facilities is to create byproducts from waste to provide valuable energy and other resources.
Examples of such resources include: Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Production; Compost and Fertilizer; Butane; Synthetic Crude Oil; Chemical Sugars; Syngas; Ammonia; Animal Feed; Bio Ethanol; Gluten; and Carbonate.
These resources may either contribute to renewable cluster operations (heat and power, or feedstock for other facilities) and reduced O & M costs, or provide revenue streams to project owners.
