Team Gemini Celebrates Earth Day 2014

April 22nd is a day for remembering that sustainability has a place in our businesses, industries, communities, and our lives as responsible citizens of the world

The Earth Day celebration was originally proposed in 1969 during the UNESCO Conference held in San Francisco, CA. The intent was to create a focal point on the growing challenges brought upon the planet by industrialization and the aggressive consumption of earth’s natural resources–a clear environmental challenge that would only grow over the next few decades. However, it wasn’t until 1990 that Earth Day became a worldwide celebration where responsible citizens and businesses acknowledge accomplishments in recycling, sustainable business and environmental protection as a human value.

Team Gemini is proud to celebrate Earth Day 2014 as a reminder of the hard work we do every day of the year. Through our efforts we aim at bringing the balance of the Triple Bottom Line to communities all over the United States and beyond. By creating opportunity based on sustainable industrial development, renewable energy, recycling, and sustainable agriculture, Team Gemini is doing its part in ensuring that the world of tomorrow is not burdened by business decisions made today. Our goal is simple: we want to infuse sustainability into a wide variety of competencies to ensure that our responsible decisions become a mainstream value of all businesses.
