Team Gemini Proudly Recognizes AMB Ecosteryl for their Offerings in Clinical Waste Treatment Technologies
With ecofriendly solutions to processing a variety of clinical waste and yielding usable output materials, AMB Ecosteryl provides valuable methods for hospitals and related institutions to become more sustainable.
As the medical industry faces increasingly costly waste processing needs and environmentally-damaging effects of outdated waste remediation practices, Team Gemini collaborates with innovators like AMB Ecosteryl to provide solutions for becoming more sustainable.
AMB is a private family group which was established in 1947 to design and produce special machinery for the extraction industries. Following the decline of the mining companies and the rise of the environmental sector, AMB moved into the development of new equipment and machinery to be used for recycling, recovery and processing of medical waste. Ecosteryl products have processed hundreds of millions of kg of biological waste since its first installation in France. The company has over 10 years of experience in the commercial treatment of medical waste without burning.
AMB provides a variety of innovative features and services, including efficacy and maintenance monitoring equipment for their devices, tele-maintenance service, state-of-the-art control panels, and much more.
No environmental impact: No chemical emission, fumes, gas or vapor. No water is necessary and no waste water is rejected.
Cost-effective: Continuous process with high productivity. Automatic loading and monitoring.
Technological: Improve efficiency and safety with our remote industrial automation equipment.
Innovation: Repurposing of Medical Waste into a new resource.
Processed medical waste residues are dry (95% plastic/cellulosic residues), which TG can further process into a Syngas production with a very high gas volume yield. With industry-proven and high-grade equipment, effective waste processing for medical institutions is now much more accessible and relevant. Combined with other offerings by Team Gemini and its team members, including water treatment, anaerobic digestion, and more, whole suites of waste processing setups can now be implemented to contribute to a healthy Triple Bottom Line for communities.
“Medical waste can be incredibly harmful to the environment and communities, if it’s not treated properly,” explains Richard Haugner, Chief Technical Officer at Team Gemini. “AMB offers valuable solutions in providing sustainable and beneficial processes that can turn unavoidable and harmful waste into usable resources.”
As effective and sustainable waste management becomes increasingly relevant for a variety of stakeholders, options to eliminate process shortcomings and increase resources will become more important as well. Team Gemini and AMB feature a variety of turnkey solutions that maximize resource production and minimize negative impacts of waste.
